Clusters are groups of related results that share a similar topic or theme. Clusters are represented by buttons whose captions describe that topic or theme. Clicking on a a cluster button has the following automatic actions:

1.The first result of the cluster is marked.
2.The relevance bars of all index words and results are updated.
3.If results are sorted by cluster, then clusters are sorted by relevance, else results are sorted by relevance.
4.Index words that appear in the marked result have a red relevance bar.
5.Index words are sorted by relevance.

The slider control for Clusters determines the number of clusters. The more clusters there are, the fewer results per cluster, but results within a cluster are very similar to each other. The fewer clusters there are, the more results per cluster, but the results within a cluster are more diverse.

In summary, clicking on a cluster button shows related index words and results, and also shows which index words actually appear in the marked result.
