Features of iMetaSearch

iMetaSearch includes a host of features, including the following ones:

1. No Limit Searches - there are no arbitrary limits on the number of results or the number of index words.
·the number of results in each search is limited only by the number of results each search engine can supply.  
·right click any index word/phrase to start a "quick search".  
·update searches to find new results with one click.  

2. SVD based Analysis
- the index, clusters, and relevance bars find "hidden nuggets" quickly
·automatic clustering controlled by a slider control appears when you click the cluster column.  
·automatic index controlled by a slider control finds related results and index words.  
·relevance bars before each index word and result show similarity to marked index word or result.  
·sort index words or results by clicking on any column (including relevance and cluster columns).  

3. Filter for Names and Emails
- find names and email addresses among index words/phrases
·use the Index | Filter For Names menu item to display likely names in the index.  
·use the Index | Filter For Emails menu item to display likely email addresses in the index.  

4. Adjustable cluster and index sizes
- sliders control the number of clusters and the size of the index.
use the cluster slider control to vary the number of clusters, from a broad overview to fine details.
use the index slider to control the number of index words and phrases that are displayed.

5. Export to HTML or CSV
- export results to an HTML or CSV file, or export index words to a CSV file.
·choose the Results | Export All Results as HTML File menu item to save results as an HTML file.  
·choose the Results | Export Results as CSV File menu item to save results as a CSV file.  
·choose the Index | Export Index as CSV File menu item to save the index as a CSV file.  

6. Follow-up Searches
- easily search on an index word/phrase or update an existing search.
·follow-up on the current search by right-clicking the index word/phrase and choosing Quick Search option.  
·or follow-up by marking an index word/phrase and clicking the Search button.  
·update a search by choosing the File | Update Search menu item.  

7. Import or Build Engines
- you can import engines easily, or build engines for your favorite sources.
·import an engine just by copying its *.eng file in to the iMetaSearch directory (usually C:\Program Files\iMetaSearch)  
·use the Engine | Build Engine menu item to build a new engine from a search site you find on the Web  
·fix an engine by using the Engine | Fix Engine menu item if an engine stops working for some reason
