The index words and phrases can be filtered to just show likely names and email addresses. This can be done by the following steps:
1) Drag the index slider all the way to the left to show the maximum number of index words and phrases. The actual number of index words and phrases is displayed in the title bar of iMetaSearch.
2) Click the Index | Filter For Names menu item (or press Contro-N) and the index will be filtered so that only index words and phrases containing likely names will be displayed. This menu item is a toggle so selecting it again will turn off the filter and show all index words and phrases again.
The text file CommonNames.txt contains the names that are used for this filtering process. You can add or delete names to this file. They do not have to be sorted since iMetaSearch sorts them automatically after loading them.
The Index | Filter For Emails (or press Control-L) works exactly the same way except that it filters index words and phrases for email addresses by looking for the "@" symbol anywhere in the word or phrase.
