Engine | Choose Engines

This menu item is used to choose which search engines you want to use in the current search. You can either choose individual engines, such as Google or Yahoo, or choose categories of engines such as New & Comments, or General search engines. Any or all search engines can be chosen.

To choose an engine, just click the checkbox in front of it. Clicking it again will turn it off. Categories are selected the same way. Depending on the nature of your search, that is whether you are after current news, general information, or scientific papers, you can choose search engines that specialize in those areas.

Only the Google search engine is chosen by default.
